Support from management
Management is only worried about numbers and nothing else. Horrible management team.
Freedom to work independently
The company went to a different style of managing a few years back, and the communication has really suffered since. Job objectives are always changing, and many times it isn't communicated.
Attitude towards older colleagues
The veteran workers, to a man/woman, feel like it isn't a place that you can retire from. They worry about numbers, and nothing else.
Office / Work Environment
Horrible work morale.
3 years ago the company went to a 24/7 schedule, and it has thrown work/life balance out the door. Weekends and holidays used to be off days, or voluntary work days, and now they are mandatory, along with 12 hour work days. It has completely sunken the morale at this company.
The image of the company has fallen off in the past few years. It used to be voted as one of the top workplaces to work, but now it is not looked upon very respectfully.
Suggestions for improvement
- Family friendly schedule. Better leadership. Better defined job instructions and expectations.
