Suggestions for improvement
- I think the main thing is communication. I think that is the main problem in any job.
What I like about the company
I have been a receptionist in three different areas of the University. Sitting at the front desk and meeting new people is the highlight of my day. There are some people that do not want this job but I actually love what I do.
What I dislike about the company
Being the receptionist of the office, there are times when I feel like I am being left out of the loop with the other people in the offices here. They come and go and do their job but sometimes I need to know when they are coming and going in case the boss needs to know where they are or someone call for them and I have no idea where there are physically. It gets frustrating at times. This does not include all of my co-workers.
