Support from management
My supervisor does not get involved (I'm thinking budget)
Staff meetings keep everyone on same page working for same goals.
Regular updates from President, provost, etc
Not enough women in higher positions. It's the old boys school mentality in lots of areas
Attitude towards older colleagues
Many depts welcome the experience of older workers
Many classes are offered. More like training -not so much for promotional reasons.
Overall compensation for your work
New employees are paid high - not needing to be employed many many years to get to my current salary.
Aggressive recycling program in place.
Never have issues when need time off for family/personal issues
Very well setup for this
Somewhat but most is monotmous
Suggestions for improvement
- Again I would like faster action when multiple people inform hr about particular people. I would also allow sick hours to be transferred to others within the university.
What I like about the company
Loved the onsite daycare when needed. Love the benefits of sick leave vacation etc.
What I dislike about the company
Should take action quicker against employees that do not represent the university in a good light.
The following benefits were offered to me
