Management damages the culture of the facility.
Support from management
Management gives zero support. The make excuses and blame their staff for everything.
This is encouraged
Freedom to work independently
Management micromanaged everything, and commits to poor ideas that don't work
Management has horrible communication, and feel entitled to not give staff important information.
It is primarily an equal opportunity job
Attitude towards older colleagues
This is true to some extent. But do to the nature of the job, you have to be physically able to do certain things. You would otherwise be a liability.
There are opportunities to move up in the company
Overall compensation for your work
For the work that I endure, the pay does not make up for it.
There is no balance. Your expected to put the job above your family.
He has changed the nature of The company in a way that I don't believe in the work that I am doing anymore
I feel as though my position is being phased out, and being taken over by other positions.
There is training, but it is inadequate, and we are not given a safe work environment.
It is a high stress job that is both physically and mentally draining
Inclusive / Diverse
Staffs thoughts and opinions are not valued or heard
Suggestions for improvement
- Staffs voices need heard, and actually listens to. The entire culture of the campus needs to change, people need to feel respected and appreciated for the very hard job that they're doing. And new program across the campus needs implemented, that actually works, is effective, and productive. Proper accountability across the board needs taken.
What I like about the company
The team you actually get to work with, hands on, is good. And on the occasion that you feel like you've been able to help someone and make a difference, that's great.
What I dislike about the company
All of management, as well as the entire program that they are trying to implement and run.
