Suggestions for improvement
- I would love to see the company re-structure a bit to create stronger teams, instead of leaning so heavily on the hard work and brilliance of a handful of good employees. I’d also love to see more trust and flexibility, allowing work-from-home.
What I like about the company
The CEO promotes personal growth and team building. He allows one paid quarterly volunteer day. He pays for conferences. He provides extra training. He provides free employee lunches once a week, and the office has lots of good snacks. For a small-to-mid sized company, it provides nice employee incentives. Obviously, the incentives can’t compete with a large corporation, but it’s a fun and creative team, which allows for career growth!
What I dislike about the company
The CEO does have trouble trusting his employees to do their work. So while many tech companies allow flexible hours and even work-from-home, our CEO is very rigid with work hours.
