There is anger and negativity.
No leadership or support.
Everyone is afraid to lose their job so they defend their turf
Certain people do the work others claim responsibility.
The jobs are underbid so everyone knows that they are being hastily prepared and sent back to be done correctly.
I was not appreciated or supported. I have much experience, I was called on to fix problems and I was laid off before those with less experience and ability.
Only the owner is in a position to better his career.
Pay is very low.
The space isn't too bad, except the interior desisgn area and the work stations are small. It is a windowless warehouse.
working hours are OK, I worked extra every evening, but got no compensation for the time.
No one is happy there and the owner is not very happy either.
The owner underbids jobs to get them and expects them to be done, but does not allow enough time to be done well. Always under pressure of losing job.
I am proud of what I did there, but I was never given credit for what I did. Mu supervisor took credit for my work.
I like doing hotel projects.
Everything else. People are expected to work in a tense environment and finish projects in less time than needed. There is never appreciation shown and when you go above and beyond what would normally be expected there is never any credit for your efforts. Plus the pay is very low and you can be let go at any time without notice. (Not even 2 weeks!)
