I had a manager who was having a personal relationship with someone she hired. The company did nothing and allowed her to bestow this person with favoritism, pay raises, bonuses, etc.
Support from management
I had terrible managers who did not support employees, so there was very high turnover. They also did not make good on benefits supposedly included in the benefit package: payment of professional dues and tuition reimbursement.
