Suggestions for improvement
- Stop laying off older workers every November, and replacing with lesser skilled, contract and foreign workers. The people you lay off are frequently the people that care about the work they do. the replacements frequently have little curiosity to learn, and have insufficient skills to work in a global enterprise. I spend most of my time now managing and correcting the work of these new workers, so I get little of my own work done. So it is frequently better if I just do it all myself. Work life balance/working form home depends on specific manager. Some treat you like an adult, others expect you to always be in the office even though few of my co-workers work in my location.
