They will discipline the employee if you file a grievance against a supervisor up to buy not limited to termination.
Suggestions for improvement
- Improve communication at the corporate level and campus level. Build employer moral, upper management shouldn't participate in gossiping, create and encourage teamwork, and comradery. Promote based on ability and performance instead of popularity contest.
What I like about the company
There is opportunity for growth and advancement, if you know the right people and the upper level management like you.
What I dislike about the company
Promotion and advancement is subjective not objective. Specifically, they promote and advance based on how much upper management likes you more than how well you perform. The same for discipline, termination, and the way you are treated on a daily basis. Communication amongst departments at the corporate level are nonexistent. When decisions are made within one department other departments that are affected by the change are not aware thus causing confusion at the campus level. Mistakes made at the corporate level are blamed on the campus or other departments. There is very low moral, everyone is scared of losing their job, the pay is lower the average pay compared to similar companies. There is a lot of gossiping, manipulation, and the work environment can be hostile, and their is no loyalty, teamwork, or comradery amongst employees.
