It's bad. Everyone is worried if the doors will be open each day when we come in.
Support from management
The management is a complete joke. These people have limited management talent and it shows. A little training would go a long way. You can see this by how many people have quit in the last year.
When people actually help, it is pretty good. Otherwise it's a fend for yourself situation.
Freedom to work independently
Micromanagement Systems is what we call it. The owner reads everyone's email and complains about you not writing like he does. Maybe this time would be better spend working on new products.
Nonexistent or last minute.
Since there is literally no training at all here for any position, there is no way to develop outside of your free time.
Overall compensation for your work
The pay would be fine if you could do your job and be left alone. The work environment kills it.
Office / Work Environment
They have nice chairs and decent computers. They give you the tools to get the job done.
The owner does seem to care about recycling.
Time off, Benefits and no weekends.
I doubt this place will be open in a few years.
Mindless work made over complicated by too many chefs in the kitchen. This place has more VP's than I have ever seen in one place.
Suggestions for improvement
- The owner and VP's should really focus on getting some more business. Let employee's be creative and give them space.
What I like about the company
The owner is very nice and mostly understanding. The employee's are mostly very nice people.
What I dislike about the company
I dislike the management methods and always having to walk on egg shells to get anything done.
