Suggestions for improvement
- Address employee drama. Provide more doctors (even just 1 non-ED doc) as a resource for floor nurses and an extra set of eyes and hands on critical patients. Hold on call night hospitalists accountable.
What I like about the company
The staff, from my direct manager all the way up to corporate leaders and ancillary staff take their time to get to know you and remember you. They are all genuinely concerned for you and want you to be successful in all your endeavors.
What I dislike about the company
Sometimes I feel we worry more about the price tag instead of the patient. Not enough doctors on site at night. Some managers favor and make special exemptions for employees. Sometimes poor communication and drama between employees that rubs off on unit culture and work effectiveness.
