The company culture was the worse company culture I have ever experienced. Employees were constantly forced to participate in events and demonstrate that they were happy. The company did a lot of events to compensate for not treating employees equally, under paying employees, and mistreating employees. The women working at TISTA felt that the men would talk down and treat women poorly compared to how they treated men.
Support from management
I did not feel supported by the leaders/executives at all. I feel that the leaders to not care about the well being about their employees. Employees are constantly being underpaid and terminated.
As mentioned employees did notice that women were treated differently than men. It is not an equal and fair work environment.
You have no work/life balance when working at TISTA. You are excepted to work over time, work on Holidays, and come in the office during inclement weather. You are constantly stressed with unrealistic deadlines and expectations
You have no job security at TISTA. Every week you witness several employees being let go and you begin to wonder when it will be your turn.
Suggestions for improvement
- Stop constantly terminating employees. Treat both men and women equally. Don't force the office culture upon employees. Treat employees with respect and equality.
What I dislike about the company
I didn't like the culture. The office culture was forced upon employees and if you didn't participate there was retaliation. The office culture was very political and unfair. The Executives did not demonstrate professionalism and knowledge in their area.
