Attitude towards older colleagues
I was told they preferred younger emoyees because they were easier to train.
There is nowhere to go in that company. You do what you do with no advancement.
Overall compensation for your work
I was promised a review at 90 days that was never done. Not even when I inquired about it.
Office / Work Environment
I was not allowed to take time off or vacation because no one would cover my desk.
The company was on a no close list for several lenders for a long time due to a fraudulent event that occurred prior to my hire date.
The last 6 months I was employed I was told if I took any time off, my job was on the line. When a gastro intestinal virus went around the office and I got sick I was laid off
There are coded locks on the doors and would be difficult for anyone handicapped to access.
There was a sheet of glass in my office for months until I cut my arm on it. Then I had to request building maintenance to remove it.
Suggestions for improvement
- Get to know your employees, make sure you have adequate coverage when an employee is sick and practice equalities between employees. Preferential treatment should not be given to friends. It should be given to everyone.
