It's the company first then the employee.
Support from management
Nonexistent, you really need to know what you are doing before you get there. Otherwise you will be sent out without training or communication. If you ask a question they will shame you about asking a stupid question.
Unless you already have friends in the company there is no team work.
There is no communication, just go where you are told and do your work.
Typical Good ole boy mentality. Women only apply for the office positions.
(which is surprising since the owner is female)
Attitude towards older colleagues
Ok if you white or if you have something they need.
Overall compensation for your work
Low for this industry
Ok if you are at a job that is not working 6 to 7 days a week
depends if they have work
Inclusive / Diverse
If they need a warm body they will hire non whites until the job is over, and then only calls back the white employees for future jobs.
Suggestions for improvement
- This company is notorious for hiring too many people and then discarding them when the job is over, then tells you for weeks/ months that they have more jobs coming.
What I like about the company
It's great if you are a returning employee and know the system and know who to call for questions.
What I dislike about the company
The biggest problem is that this company over hires and then leads you on when there is no work.
