Suggestions for improvement
- My retail associates would be appropriately compensated for the work that they put in. They would make above minimum wage and wages would start at $15, with coordinators making more because of their experience and work load. I would not allow corporate employees to make decisions on the store level because they are unaware of the day to day issues.
What I like about the company
The people that I work with are the reason that I am still with the company. Although I am not compensated well for my work, the environment and people is what keeps me. We are a little family and everyone cares about each other, we understand each other's struggles. Retail is hard work but when you have positive people around you, it makes it worthwhile.
What I dislike about the company
The compensation of sales associates and coordinators. Management makes well above what the rest of the company makes but the sales associates are the ones who keep the company going. Those in corporate make rules for the stores even when they themselves have never worked retail. I find it unfair for them to make decisions based on information that may not be accurate.
