They mix loud unprofessionals with serious quiet professionals. That's just stupid in my opinion.
Support from management
The people holding the money turned a deaf ear to my supervisor and his manager's request for additional staffing and the had the evidence to show we needed it. I found the people holding the money to be disgusting over seers.
Departments I worked with seemed to care less how their bad judgment affected other departments that were dependent on them doing us a solid.
Freedom to work independently
People don't seem to know who is doing what.
There seem to be plenty of a mix of both genders.
Attitude towards older colleagues
I didn't see any age discrimination.
Their not quick to move people when you want to jump to another department.
Overall compensation for your work
Not bad they do give a raise every year it's just not a lot.
Office / Work Environment
Loud and lacked space.
They seem to want you to work endlessly there. Whats wrong with a set schedule of 40 hrs. No they have to change this up and that. When people left they didn't give additional people to fill the void.
They promote their politics on their employee. Not cool.
No they continue to do re-orgs that equals layoffs - firings
They seem to be.
No I felt they actually promoted a hostile environment. I've never seen so much disrespect and unprofessionalism towards co-workers I saw a lot of in my opinion, infantile adults at least in my department and another one we had to work with.
I would call it challenging in the sense that not enough people know what they're doing and they don't have a proper staff level.
Inclusive / Diverse
They made us keep a person in our IT department just because he helped fulfill the diversification requirements of the department. He didn't seem to know a computer from his back side. I caught him turning one ticket into four tickets, and who got stuck cleaning up his mess? Me.
Suggestions for improvement
- Yeah fire all the people holding the money without a severance package and get people in there that will actually support their subordinates.
What I like about the company
A few of the people I worked with directly were nice and we didn't have to pay to park.
What I dislike about the company
I've already listed that above.
