The company was created by 1 man, and a dream. Unfortunately, due to,mismanagement, and laziness, it tanked. It was then taken over by its now Parent company, Trek Inc. Which is just as awful. If you like confused, off the street, low paid workers, then this job is for you. Did I mention, when the CEO left, they put the young IT guy in charge? Yeah. They also make money from the state, by hiring child molesters. Did I mention there is zero job advancement as well? If this is your cup of tea, then by all means, have a blast.
Support from management
It exists, but may be crushed by overzealous bosses, only because they were family, and hired within.
Freedom to work independently
Again, good luck!
They like to place the blame on the workers, for bad engineering assets, and could care less how you could save them money.
I could care less about this subject, unless your banging a higher up, then that's all the equality you need.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Overall compensation for your work
Office / Work Environment
Low moral, low pay, low intelligence.
Most of the production workers are friendly, unless they have something to prove. They're just trying to pay off their 2000 Escort ZX2.
Typical 9-5ish job, over time is available, for the engineering screwups.
Lets face it, people end up finding Bittorrent, or Trek bikes when searching for these companies.
If you sit there for a while, you might fit in?
Not sure, I guess?
Ha, do you lead filled, cancerous air? Perfect, you'll fit right in...until your dead.
If you like working with outdated, hardly serviced equipment, that's a challenge enough.
Inclusive / Diverse
They'll hire any hobo, or pill head temp off the street. So again, good luck!
