Unfortunately the "feel good factor" is greatly influenced by the department or your standing. Some departments are great, others are only great if you're liked.
I like about the employer
Good pay, comparable in most areas. Fantastic health care plan. Some areas are flexible, especially the higher up you are.
I dislike about the employer
If you're liked you'll go far, if not you're stuck. Gilbert is proud of how lean they are (# employees/#citizens) but they are almost too lean in many areas. There is very little redundancy. Directors are held accountable so many times they are a funnel and things get stuck for a long time.
