Hiring and discipline decisions had too much of a racial component. Skin color came before ability, experience, and character. Supervisors had their hands tied because of lack of hiring and poor hiring practices.
Support from Management
Poor leadership that only focuses on themselves and not the needs of the employee. Poor HR dept. that uses a blind eye mentality.
Regular associates tend to work well together and help each other. However, that was too much division between Japanese and US management.
