Company Culture

No cohesion was applied. No one trusted each other.

Support from management

No mentor-ship at all.

Teamwork

Different sections were not allowed to work together.

Freedom to work independently

Engineering was the only section that got assigned tasks. Other sections were a reaction force.

Internal Communication

One section was the only section to go over any sales. The other section never made any sales. Did get engine approved for different air frame.

Gender Equality

Didn't see peer assessments for anyone there to determine an
improvement ladder for employees. There were verbal complaints from women about possible issues with some employees.

Attitude towards older colleagues

Was hopeful to inspire others but got shot down on several occasions.

Career Development

Company has revolving door.

Overall compensation for your work

Sometimes the pay fits the employee but mostly underpaid for this company. Benefits were good with dental and health insurance.

Office / Work Environment

Working conditions outside were either hot or freezing depending on time of year. Main building was okay as long as the gas bill was paid.

Environmental Friendliness

It was never brought up in discussion.

Work-Life Balance

Didn't have a problem in this area. They were flexible on most considerations.

Company Image

No one will wear the company logo.

Job Security

Again, revolving door.

Handicapped Accessibility

All one level buildings with wide doors. No problem.

Workplace Safety

No training received but OSHA posters were posted.

Challenging Work

Learned a lot about what not to do. Had plenty of work but no direction from leadership. Had to be self motivated with own plan for accomplishments. No recognition but completed a lot work that was well needed.

Inclusive / Diverse

There were no meetings to discuss agenda.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Higher a successful Chief Executive Officer who knows about Aviation and Production Management.
