On paper they are good but in practice terrible.
Support from management
I wish I could give negative stars. Management bullies employees, asks you to do a job that should take 2-3 people, works you until you are burnt out then guilt trips you.
Freedom to work independently
Most things you are made to do by yourself. It's not that they trust you it's that they never have enough people and "you should be able to do it yourself".
They will not train you. They will throw you into the job then get angry when you don't know how to do something.
Heck no! Management treats woman like they are hormonal and nothing they say is valid. "Don't take things so personal" even when verbal abuse is going on.
Attitude towards older colleagues
We have a 76 year old man working along with two others and the GM is doing everything in his power to get rid of them.
I have been able to jump the ladder but it depends.
Overall compensation for your work
Not worth it at all! Most barely make above minimum. I was lucky and make an it more. Work load far exceeds pay.
Office / Work Environment
Our AC was broken for months with the back room getting in the 90s and no one pushed to get it fixed. Most of the building is falling apart and company/landlord won't fix it.
They waste a TON. Literally. There are days we throw a dumpster full of product, trash, and recyclables away. The only reason we recycle cardboard is we get money for the bales.
I rarely see my family. I had management harp on me when I got an emergency call and had to leave right away.
Usually understaffed so they can't afford to get rid of you.
Been injuried many times and gone to the ER. Dangerous work environment.
Challangeing yes. Proud? No. I have had to go to the hospital multiple times due to being injured while working.
Inclusive / Diverse
Don't speak your mind.
Suggestions for improvement
