Support from management
Decision are largely done by highers-up in management long removed from the lab or production environment.
Communication is severely lacking from any real intended person or useful beneficiary. One must take creative initiative to know what must be known.
Suggestions for improvement
- Change won't hurt you as much as you think. Empirical evidence is worth more than one manager's opinion.
What I like about the company
Most of the coworkers are enjoyable and the work is scientifically fascinating.
What I dislike about the company
Hypocrisy in management: personal connections such as family relations were used in management approach for promotion and advancement.
