Company Culture

demeaning

Support from management

essentially no support unless the end result would benefit mangement

Teamwork

Absolutely not

Freedom to work independently

from the time supervisors clocked out at 3-5 P.M. Eastern time there was no contact so we could work independently and get the job done.

Internal Communication

No. Only time we heard from company was when there was something to report that they would dock our wages for.

Gender Equality

we were all equally devalued unless a personal friend of management

Attitude towards older colleagues

They would hire anyone off the street that they could make money off of.

Career Development

I did not observe decent treatment of anyone wishing to move up the ladder.

Overall compensation for your work

Absolutely not. They managed over a two-year period to drive us down from over$20/hr+ to less than minimum wage.

Office / Work Environment

Employees were home based.

Environmental Friendliness

Not that I know of.

Work-Life Balance

No respect for employees or their families. There was definite pressure to work more hours but it we were pressed to request additional work.

Company Image

Absolutely not. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Job Security

All transcriptionists in California were terminated in September 2016 because the company did not approve of the labor laws. Any new accounts were overloaded and then work was siphoned off to India or the hospital was induced to buy a word recognition program.

Handicapped Accessibility

worked from home.

Workplace Safety

worked from home.

Challenging Work

As a career medical transcriptionist I am proud of the work I produced. My work impacted patient health, although employer did not quite grasp the importance of having qualified transcriptionists

Inclusive / Diverse

The only thing this employer appreciated was the profit they could make.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Get rid of the back-stabbing management--which translates to almost all of them.

What I like about the company

Nothing

What I dislike about the company

Greed-base. Care nothing about employees and continuously changing reimbursement packages to drive down employee wages.
