You never know whose team you will be put on. they can be good or bad
Unless you are kept with your team that you start with, or your team lead doesn't leave the company, you won't know or be encouraged to get to know anyone, especially working from home, you feel alone.
Freedom to work independently
Pretty decent autonomy (working from home) but lack of leadership and direction. There is no direction, any advancement only granted if your #'s are at the very top which is extremely difficult to do if you do a good job for all the angry customers you get.
The customers are angry for a reason. Policies are ridiculous and customers are bound to contracts with no way out other than large disconnect fees. Installers don't show up, and it may be because an installer isn't in their area anymore. Very poor communication between management!

Office / Work Environment
Working from home or offices in Denver. depends on your situation. The pay isn't that great, so one would not be able to afford superior conditions in their work environment, but you can get by.
I believe Satellite internet (the contract I was on) is not harmful to the environment, however, the company as a whole does not seem to make efforts to help the environment that I know of.
This job is extremely demanding. 75% of calls are angry and dismayed, and it only gets worse, because the company does not encourage any positive changes, as much as you implore that they be made
The company seemed to maintain their image of thieves, because the company would stand by their contract which seemed to be in gold whether or not a customer was satisfied or not. It was expensive to attempt to get out of the contract, or they're forced to pay tons of money in overage for using the service.
You can be let go at any time whether or not the reason is valid or investigated..
My job was work from home,so this would be an alright job for someone with disabilities in regards to the physical aspect
Other than the occassional threats and often angry and loud yelling that goes on on the other end of the phone that a customer wants to kill you, it is safe
The job is demanding, very little time between calls at any given time, but the resources provided make it simple to do the job. I needed more of a challenge in respect to being allowed to move to a different department where I can make changes needed to keep the client we worked for in a positive light.
Inclusive / Diverse
There are opportunities to participate in events (put more time in to work and not get paid for it) but the rewards were not worth it. Only the minimim was put into this type of thing (all online) there were never staff invites to on-site events or seminars for improvement. Advancement seems to not be an option for most.
