The corporation has completely changed the culture in SLO California

Suggestions for improvement

  • Employees should have the option to work from home when needed or a few times a month and be given more freedom as Long as the work gets done. At this time it is up to the manager. My manager does not allow freedom but most others do. If the employees could choose it would be a much more relaxed environment and people would enjoy their job more. They hired us so they should trust us to get the job done.

What I like about the company

The benefits, time off, sick time, events, giveaways and bonuses are fantastic. The company really does care about its employees.

What I dislike about the company

I do not like working under the manager I currently have. She micromanages. We have the option and the type of job where we are able to work from home, however it’s at the discretion of management and she does not allow it. She chose us as her employees and she should trust us to get our job done. We know what needs to be done and we should be trusted to do it and to complete are deadlines. If we are not trusted then why would she hire us?! I do not like the work environment or my job bc of the manager. The micromanaging needs to stop. We definitely deserve more freedom with the hours, lunches and breaks. We do not need to be constantly checked up on. This is what makes my coworkers and I despise our job. If we had a better manager it would be the best job ever.
