There is no trust per se. How well you do depends upon how much the management likes you, not how hard you work. There is or was a holiday party and lunches in December. That was really neat and felt very nice for the management to do that.
Support from management
Employees are hired young and inexperienced. management is not looking for the thinking to be done by anyone but themselves. In a conflict situation what I have experienced is the management has Placed cameras and microphones around office to listen in on employees conversation.then later threatens disciplinary action for these conversations. Management also seeks out and relies on gossip to make decisions. Management seems. Very paranoid of employees.
Employees are afraid of losing their job and therefore are wary to work with one another. Everyone wants to work solo to watch their own back.
Freedom to work independently
Workload is large, employees are young , underpaid, and inexperienced and many times stay late with no over pay to finish.
Management does not always communicate with employee, but does talk a lot about what needs to be done or changed to other employees about employee. Which makes the office awkward and weird.
Tends to hire very young males. Management many times hangs out and drinks with these guys after hours and has a positive relationship with this demographic. Older employees, women and minorities are left out of this commadery. In a years time almost half of the women, older employees, and minorities had been fired, let go or quit. Sad.
Promised a better job to take a lower one at first due to my background and education. Never was offered that better job again while there.
Office / Work Environment
Nice computers, new furniture and office. A room with a skeeball and pinball available for employees. I thought that was fun.
Pressure to work on holidays. No paid time off. Families are not taken in consideration.
Everyone was worried about their job security. It is a place of paranoia .
No training but seems very safe.
Suggestions for improvement
- Less paranoia and gossip more work stability and employee support.
