- No actual interview questions prepared, just pulled them out of thin air.
- Asked inappropriate illegal questions about my spouse being in the military and what he does for a living.
- Asked personal questions outside the scope of the interview.
I saw this job posting through Monster.com, I applied offsite. The HR representative was 30 minutes late for the phone interview. The phone interview went well and I had high hopes. I arrived 15 minutes early to the face to face interview and interviewer was inpatient waiting at the front door of the building, this really through me off as he told me he was busy today. He asked me illegal questions about my spouse and him being active duty military, he wondered why I had lived in so many states as well (also due to military). Interview was the shortest I've ever had, only 10 minutes during which only 3 questions were asked. The interviewer yawned and seemed bored with me in general, didn't listen to any of my responses and zoned out a lot. He also did not like the fact that I was pursuing an education. Poorest interview I've ever had, walked out feeling strange. It's no surprise I received a rejection email 2+ weeks later. Very standoffish vibe I received from the moment I walked out of my car to the moment I left, I'm only sorry I wasted the gas money.
