Suggestions for improvement

  • More support is needed to the managers on a consistent basis which would ensure that deadlines would be met. Also, that there be reasonable expectations regarding the work load.

What I like about the company

The people who work for the agency are very caring individuals and the work we do is valued by the families we support. Most of the employees have been with the agency for many years, 5+.

What I dislike about the company

The turnover is too much at times and upper management needs to be more stable. Also, raises need to be given more. At least yearly.

The people that you work are fine. For the most part easy to get along.

Support from management

No. They just pile on work of 5 people on one person and expect you to work round the clock including weekends to get it done. It's AWFUL!! And your opinion matters for nothing.

Not really. Definition of micromanagement is my boss.

No one is appreciated. They get rid of people constantly when it's slow so they don't have to pay for their salaries. Then hire new people when it gets busy again. They don't care about anything other than their own money. They don't care about putting anyone out of work. They fire you right before Christmas too. Poor people..
Also benefits are the WORST I've every seen! Insurance is AWFUL! You think you have bad insurance? Wait till you see this one!! Also, only ONE week paid time off! ONE WEEK! No Sick pay. Nothing else. WORST benefits package I've ever seen in my life.

Career Development

There is no career advancement. Your career advancement is you finding another job.

I do the work of 5 people. We all do. And get paid for barely one.

Office / Work Environment

Bathrooms go down constantly and your boss won't even let you leave to go somewhere else. How's that for good working environment? They also expect you to clean and help in any disaster type situation.

Environmental Friendliness

They demonstrate concern about nothing other than making more money.

Work-Life Balance

AWFUL!!! Expect working late nights and basically every weekend- THE WHOLE WEEKEND. They would rather work you like a robot than hire more people! DON'T take a job here. You will regret it.

No job security. They will fire you when it's slow to cut cost and then hire new people when it's busy again. They do this all the time. They constantly fire good people just to save on their salary.

No. Because most of the time they use me to do work below my level. Tedious work that should be done by someone getting paid less. Busy work basically. Pointless stupid busy work.

No. No one's opinion matters other than upper millionaire management.

Suggestions for improvement

  • How about you actually CARE about your employees! Get some real HR! Give 2 weeks vacation and sick pay per year like a normal respectable company. Stop being cheap and give a damn about your employees life quality and get better insurance plans. Stop firing people when it's slow just so you can save on their salaries and fluff it up nicely by saying "We need to cut cost". Cut cost somewhere else. Stop putting good people out of jobs!

What I like about the company

My coworkers aren't so bad. Easy to work with. That's about it. Everything else is absolutely terrible.

What I dislike about the company

Everything! Insurance is AWFUL! PTO time is horrendous! ONE WEEK! That's all you get for an entire year! No sick pay. NOTHING else! Management makes you work round the clock. Day and night and also all weekend- 7 days a week. Do NOT take a job here!
