Support from management
The above notation is everything management did not do. In their defense they were not trained or educated for the position. But I was able to persevere and still give 120% while learning great life lessons.
With absentee management this was difficult but we were able to pull together enough to solve every problem that came our way.

I flourish in this situation even over achieve. I can only speak for myslef.

Overall compensation for your work
I feel the company neglected to assess salaries vs. responsibilities but I truly feel it is more middle management then executive management.
Employees do not talk fondly of the company and this upsets me. I feel a little underpaid but I feel I was treated, for the most part, except for the last 7 years, fairly.
I feel very threatened at this time.
I was on the safety committee. They definitely put a lot into this aspect of the company.
I was able to accomplish very much each day. In my current position there were many opportunities to help customers, communicate deadlines, placate worried workmates and solve interesting problems. I was very proud of the diversity of my knowledge.
Inclusive / Diverse
I was not involved in this much. There was a select group, I believe that was involved in this but it only accommodated a select few.
Suggestions for improvement
- Really, truly assess the employees. There are some really great and dedicated people there and there are some people who are really taking the company for a ride.
What I like about the company
I was comfortable and knew everyone like a family.
What I dislike about the company
They are not the same company as it was before Richard Scaiffe passed away.
