Support from management

Contractors are treated like morons by both the civilian and military leadership.

Teamwork

The military do not include the contractors in any level except to tell us how to do our job.

Freedom to work independently

Because of their carelessness, we are afforded a lot of leeway; basically as long as you don't break the law, you'll never get fired.

Office / Work Environment

Getting something as simple as new chairs that are ergonomic and actually comfortable is like pulling teeth, they don't get the ones you order, and then it's like you owe them something.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Acknowledge that every member in the Armed Forces was a civilian at one time, and wearing a uniform does not endow them with magical powers or intelligence.

What I like about the company

As a contractor the pay is pretty good, if it wasn't I never would have put up with them for 8 years.

What I dislike about the company

No job appreciation, especially by the military.
