Rumor mill all created by the operation lead, lab supervisor and customer service. They feel they are the only important ones. Operation lead speaks horribly of other staff
Support from management
Very little. You are given brief training then sent on your way. get yelled at when you do something wrong or called names by management.
Most production staff are willing to help and will go out of their way to help. If you share an idea, leadership tells you that your wrong then turns around and says it was their idea when it is implemented.
Freedom to work independently
You don't really have a choice. The Operation lead is barely on the floor and a lot of the time he has messed up the order process, so we have nothing to do but clean.
Almost zero. Most internal communication is when Operation Lead and Lab Supervisor running around blaming each other for problems instead of owning their mistakes
no where to go but out the door here
Overall compensation for your work
pay is minimum wage
It works very well for the Operation lead and Lab supervisor as they leave whenever they want and most of the time not tell anyone. Just go. its a usual shift so production staff just plan life after their shift.
The company could be great again if they changed up management. otherwise, internally the company image is in the ground
if you tick off the operation lead or lab supervisor, your out the door as they will lie about you to corporate
They take the guards off of machinery, ie saws etc because they state they work better. some staff drive the fork lift way to fast and leadership does nothing.
Making the tiles and brick is amazing. Love it, Just don't have enough to do and its extremely unorganized.
