This company has an amazing vision and great benefits, however it's not overseen well. Several things are overlooked.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Management needs to be trained better and their idea of "fully staffed" needs to change.

What I like about the company

This company has great values and benefits as a whole. It offers lots of incentives.

What I dislike about the company

The company is too large to oversee every facility as it should be. Things are swept under the rug by management. They don't fully abide by laws (enforcing 2 qualified staff to operate hoyer lift) They want to pack their facilities full and not provide the assistance necessary to care for everyone. Then it falls on CNAs and Nurses if we can't keep up. 2 aides, 1 nurse, and 1 QMA are not sufficient to cover a hall of 25 with most being fully dependent. Then depending on who the DON is you might get subliminally threatened into picking up extra shifts. Lastly, they don't like to abide by medical restrictions. It doesn't matter if you were injured on the job, they won't take you seriously even if a Dr. has signed off stating that you are light duty.
