- Trim-Lok Inc.06.Jun 2017 (Last edit 08.Jun 2017)
Privately own company and managers working there for many years are unwilling to adapt to new ways of doing or thinking
Support from management
Management make their own decisions and ignored the recommendations of well experience employees on needed changes or improvements.
Unfortunately there is no Team work at this company. Every department works under their own Rules/goals
The communication level is very low. One example, when the COO was let go, the officially communicated to employees 3 months later
There is Gender Equality
Attitude towards older colleagues
Older people still works there
They do not offer proper training.
Office / Work Environment
Coworkers are nice people to work with
Due to the material they work with, the smell does not appear to be a healthy environment
Office crew only works regular hours. Not overworked
signs of safety are posted everywhere, but the actions taken shows that safety is not as important to them.
They have process establish for many years and are not willing to change so there is no challenge
Suggestions for improvement
- I would highly recommend for the owner to evaluate the managers running the business and talk about how to improve the relationship with employees. On the management review, they should not only evaluate the customer status and profits. they should also evaluate employees status and well being. After all, employees are the ones producing the products being sold to customers.
What I like about the company
I like that it is a privately own company by a man who started the business years ago. That motivated me to work here because I always look up to successful people.
What I dislike about the company
The owner is not directly involve on running the business and they way management runs the business it always affects the employees motivation to put in the 110% to have a successful day at work
