Company Culture

Self-serving without regard for anyone aside from the upper management

Support from management

Management is only as good as the length of the strength behind the lashings they give you daily.

Teamwork

The only team you will find is that of upper managers to beat down the employees that provide them with product to sell

Freedom to work independently

You are forced to work independently as there is no real support.

Internal Communication

Nonexistent.

Gender Equality

They will beat down everyone below upper management equally

Attitude towards older colleagues

They treat elder employees with distain and do there best to force you out. God forbid you become ill as they will find a way to fire you.

Career Development

Not possible.

Overall compensation for your work

Extremely low. Far below market.

Office / Work Environment

Substandard in every respect.

Environmental Friendliness

Employees of lesser titles are wonderful and my heart goes out to them for their patient and ability to put up with torture.

Work-Life Balance

They expect you to leave your family with no respect. Your personal real health is also not of any interest to them.

Company Image

I am ashamed to have put this company on my resumè

Job Security

There is only security as long as you don't want to be compensated for your sfforts.

Handicapped Accessibility

Not needed as they won't hire anyone with such problems.

Workplace Safety

They don't care if you contract illness from your employment as long as they have enough time to be rid of you before your passing.

Challenging Work

You are required the skill of a brain surgeon yet the needs of a corpse.

Inclusive / Diverse

The only opinions that may be considered are those provided by management.

Suggestions for improvement

  • It was a horrible waste of part of my life.

Company Culture

Weak. They are struggling for an identity

Support from management

There has been multiple leaders at all levels of management come and go in the last two years.

Teamwork

The employees that are left are trying very hard to work together.

Freedom to work independently

due to the lack of an engaged manager, I have no choice but to set my own priorities.

Internal Communication

One of the greatest weaknesses is the almost complete lack of communication.

Gender Equality

Women have the same opportunities as men.

Attitude towards older colleagues

Older employee's were the first to go during layoff.

Career Development

The company does support personal education efforts but it does not translate into job growth.

Overall compensation for your work

Most all employees are now doing the work of two people with no additional compensation.

Office / Work Environment

Building is suitable but the equipment is outdated.

Environmental Friendliness

The recycling bins for paper are thrown in with the rest of the trash. Makes no sense.

Work-Life Balance

They state that you should have a home life but the implication is that the work comes first.

Company Image

I was when I was hired 10 years ago, but over the last two years that has changed dramatically.

Job Security

The company is downsizing and consolidating at a state and corporate level. Many jobs are being lost and many more will be.

Handicapped Accessibility

They have two handicap parking spaces.

Workplace Safety

The facility is compliant and they do provide the necessary training.

Challenging Work

I am proud of the work and most everyone takes the work seriously. Peoples lives depend on it.

Inclusive / Diverse

The only ideas that are valued are the people in charges ideas.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Find qualified and experienced people to make the hard decisions the corporation is asking of the division.

What I like about the company

They had a solid backlog and a stable customer base.

What I dislike about the company

They have made a number of poor management decisions affecting the product and workforce.

Company Culture

Smart, Hard working employees.

Support from management

Very little management support. No reinvestment of profits into the people, machines or processes.

People work with little oversight. Should be more understanding by management of what the employees skills are.

Minimal communication. Key problem.

Pretty equal opportunity for women in management

Attitude towards older colleagues

Older employees are encouraged to retire. Their skills are lost.

Not important to management. System is there, but not utilized.

25 - 30% less than industry standard

People work together to make things happen in an old style system

Not really

No feeling of understanding from management that people have lives.
