There is no positive feedback, and the climate is generally that you cannot trust anyone.
Support from management
There is no management support in any department.
Freedom to work independently
This is not a union shop, and favoritism runs high. Employees have no say in what they do.
Sometimes there is good communication, but not on a regular basis.
Attitude towards older colleagues
There are a lot of older workers, but there is no appreciation or support for anyone.
Training is only offered to management. Lower level employees are not offered, or encouraged to find opportunities for further development. There is no opportunity for advancement. Very much a dead end job on all levels.
Overall compensation for your work
Office / Work Environment
Climate controlled and clean.
Depends on the supervisor as to how reasonable they are with vacation time.
Morale is extremely low, and employees do not talk fondly of this company.
There is always a risk of restructuring hanging over your head. There have been two major restructuring moves in the las 4 - 5 years. No one feels the job is stable, and rumors continually run wild.
Parking and restrooms are accessible. Nothing else.
There is no sense of accomplishment, because there is no positive feedback. Management is too quick to give write-ups for mistakes made, no matter how small. They do not encourage you to move up in the company or to improve your skill level. They are only concerened about getting product out the door.
Inclusive / Diverse
Not at all.
Suggestions for improvement
