Founded in 1925 by co-founders George Godber and Carl Speer, Trojan Battery Company is the world’s leading manufacturer of deep-cycle batteries. With the invention of the golf car battery for the Autoette vehicle in 1952, Trojan pioneered the development of deep-cycle battery technology for the golf industry; successfully introducing mobilization to the game of golf. For Trojan, this began a legacy of leadership and innovation that prevails today in the global, deep-cycle markets spanning applications for golf, renewable energy, transportation, floor machines, aerial work platforms, marine and recreational vehicles.

For our Operations Hourly Exempt Positions:

Read, write, and speak basic English

Minimum six months’ experience in production, construction, warehouse, or similar work environment (for Operations Positions).

High School Diploma, GED, or greater.


For Our Non-Exempt and Exempt Positions:

High School Diploma or equivalency required for all positions. Some roles require a higher-level degree in a specific area of study

Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required.

Must possess high levels of professionalism and integrity

Exceptionally strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer service required.

Ability to work with very diverse groups of people at all levels of authority.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills as well as the ability to balance several priorities from multiple sources required; flexibility and adaptability in dealing with rapidly changing priorities and demands necessary.

Environmental Stewardship

As proactive supporters of environmental sustainability, Trojan’s environmental stewardship focuses on clean energy initiatives and recycling programs. Trojan manufactures batteries that are 97% recyclable. Through its partnership with Southern California Edison (SCE) Trojan saves over 8 million kilowatt hours and cuts CO2 emissions by over 12 million pounds significantly reducing our annual energy consumption and carbon foot print.

FAQ

What should I wear to my interview?

We suggest wearing business casual to your interview. Something you might wear on a Friday at a business office. For example, pants (not jeans or shorts) and a long-sleeved shirt or knit pullover. We also require everyone to wear proper shoes, no opened toe shoes or sandals – this is a manufacturing environment.
