Support from management
Supervisors need to learn how towork with employees to accomplish goals instead of against.
For the most part employees work together. A LOT of talking behind others backs and setting up others for failure.
Freedom to work independently
Complete lack of structure and scheduling...
A lot of things go unsaid until late larger problems arise
I did not feel like problems were due to being a female
Attitude towards older colleagues
Face to face interactions were fine...absolutely no trust between anyone.
Went in excited and expecting advancement and learning...was not the reality.
Overall compensation for your work
Salaries and benefits were on point.
Office / Work Environment
Uncomfortable but not horrible working areas...there were plans for expansion
Major interference with family life..typical holidays when daycare ectopic. Are closed you are expected to work.
Almost everyone there has negative thoughts towards the company
No job security. Threats of firing used as motivation...
Given the right tools and training for the job would have gone a long way to improve this area
Suggestions for improvement
- Investing in bettwr software, training for management expecially in the area of people skills...team building is most definitely needed as well
What I like about the company
There is a general feeling of wanting to improve conditions and working relationships. Interesting and diverse work.
What I dislike about the company
There is a extreme need for management/supervision skills training. Also a problem with understaffing.
