Massive culture shift toward physical appearance of the department and not the skill of the employee. New hires don't take the time to understand the user environments and create many unintentional problems. Mgmt spies on computers now and removes software without finding out what it is needed for. Many highly qualified people are being replaced at a much lower salary.
Support from Management
Recent changes in management make no sense unless some brother-in-law deal was struck among elected officials. We went from being a nationally recognized county for our use of technology to refocusing our efforts on remodeling the office wasting $100,000+ taxpayer dollars. There are no longer any departmental goals or motive for overachieving. Decisions seem self serving or directed to the direct benefit of elected officials. Used to be the best place in the world to work but that's all changed now.
