At least 98% of the managers and directors are white so don’t you think about moving up the career ladder with this company.
Freedom to work independently
You will be monitored closely. It's like you have a chain ball that attaches you to your desk and computer so you can't venture out for too long. This means make your bathroom trips quick and short.
They will fire you quickly especially if you work in Career Services.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diversity is what this company needs in terms of management. This is a plantation;managers are white and workers are people of color.
Suggestions for improvement
- They need to hire more people of color in management.
What I like about the company
What I dislike about the company
This is one of the most racist places to work in Tampa, Florida on Martin Luther King Blvd. At least 98% of the managers and directors are white so don’t you think about moving up the career ladder with this company.
There are managers that do not have a college degree and yet they are making the big bucks because they are all friends. Look at Jonathan Reynolds he didn’t have a college degree when he started but yet his friend gave him a job as a manager in the finance division. Look at old man Ken, he is always hitting on the young pretty girls, this man is a real- life sexual harassment machine but he is a manager and no one has written him up or fired him.
Ultimate Medical Academy is always hiring because they are always firing. I believe they get some type of monetary incentive to hire minorities and keep minorities hired for a certain period of time and when that time has elapsed, they fire the minority employee. They will write you up for anything and once you get written up you can’t transfer to another division in the company for six months. During that six months they will find something else to write you up for again until they push you out the door or fire you.
