Profit and growth driven. The measurements of success where made as a company and no adjustment for the local area. Sales where based on local clients, if they are low income or in a recession they can't spend money.
Support from management
The store manager was helpful and supportive. District manager and above was focused on everyone working every second and profit centered.
Must be a team player and good communication
Reviews are not guaranteed to be done annually. I went two years between mine.
Had to be excellent sales person to be able to move into a management position. If you can't sell you can't get promotions.
Overall compensation for your work
Minimum wage and minor increases unless you can sell. No commission for selling services or products.
Office / Work Environment
Even though there are bay doors that could be closed during the winter, they had to be left open. We were required to open and close 10 min early or late, respectively.
The company sends out coupons that take their service down to an affordable let rate but it has a very detrimental effect on their key performance indicator, almost like setting you up for failure if they local area does not have a lot of money to spend.
High employee turnover of managers leads to them working 50 to 60 hours a week, even assistant managers. Sometimes assistant managers where the highest ranking employee of a store and had all manager responsibilities but no increase in pay.
May have injury due to burns scrapes and moving fast up and down stairs or latters.
The only challenging work is being able to sell services and working extremely fast. Including running up and down stairs or ladders because of a lack of employee's.

What I dislike about the company
The overall management tone. They care about their bottom line even though they do not have stock holders. They don't care about keeping employees unless they can sell. During slow times with being short handed, you are alone on the floor with nothing to due but study their word tracks to sell. In the winter you have to keep doors open and heat is outdated and does not help keep you warm. The office is basically off limits to everyone but the manager and people on lunch, if you can even stop working because there is no one to cover your lunch.
