Suggestions for improvement

  • Management shouldn't continue to push people to the breaking point. They tend to not follow the CBA and wait until a grievance is filed and settled.

What I like about the company

Many of the co-workers I consider good friends. There are times management can be difficult, but that usually is the case when working in a union job. If you perform your job according to the CBA, you will not have any trouble succeeding.

What I dislike about the company

Management is more concerned about performing the tasks within a certain timeframe rather than doing the job correctly.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Keep vehicles safe and not be mean to employees. It was one thing to yell at employees for a bad job but they just call you mean names. I was called a stupid B-word by the manager in one office in front of my co-workers. One co-workers alcohol problems were announced to the whole room of employees (he wasn't drunk at work and has never been but was an alcoholic). Just the cruelty sometimes made the job unbearable. This stuff would be illegal anywhere else!

What I like about the company

I got a lot of exercise and the customers were usually nice.

What I dislike about the company

How they treat employees and treat their safety. The job was already dangerous with the dogs and occasional nasty people without having vehicles that lost breaks and were unsafe as well

Suggestions for improvement

  • Rule with an iron fist is not an effective management style. They need to start treating employees with respect

What I like about the company

Good retirement plan with matching 401k

What I dislike about the company

Upper management and they way they treat employees. They do not respect the people that manage individual offices and makes employees feel worthless
