At first, it is a great company to work for, but the personal relationships between upper management and certain employees makes trust very difficult.
Support from management
My immediate supervisor was great, but above that management got too personally involved with some employees, hiring family, favoring them, etc.
A small percentage of the employees did most of the actual work. The ones that didn't work were never reprimanded for wasting everyone's time.
Freedom to work independently
This goes back to teamwork. The distribution was fair, but when some of the employees would rather talk on the phone or shop online, it leaves everyone else to do their work.
Communication was encouraged, but there were no consequences for not doing your job if you are related to a member of management.
There is little to no room for advancement in the company.
Once you learn your job, with it being a very small company, you will receive texts and emails on the weekends and days off asking you to do things on your time off that you will not be paid to do.
The ATM company is a fleeting business since a lot of people no longer carry cash. Little to no feeling of job security.
It's not at all a challenging job.
Inclusive / Diverse
Opinions are appreciated, but never really implemented.
Suggestions for improvement
- To treat all employees as equals. To not single a person out in a small office due to personal differences. To have repercussions for NOT doing your job, and benefits for doing your job.
What I like about the company
It is a very laid back atmosphere.
What I dislike about the company
There is a lot of favoritism, there are no repercussions when one employee doesn't do their job, the others are just expected to pick up the slack. It makes morale very low.
