- 1-Keep those weekly morning meetings, discussing the current day 2-Keep everyone to task, but with some fun breaks thrown in! 3-Open/Good Communications with the supervisors 4-Have supervisor meetings to discuss how other departments are doing, its amazing what you can learn! Then you don't have to rewrite the protocol, you can adopt it to your specific clinic 5 Give praise when it is do! A "thank you" will go a long way, when you are having a difficult day. 6. Appreciate the staff you have, coming both from the doctors and the supervisors. It is a 2-way street, each component is like a giant puzzle piece, each piece is part of how the office works and the staff it has. Put together, it makes up the" team" that everyone works with, and the staff that our patients see! This can go a long way with our patients, making them feel they are a part, not a problem! 6. Last but not least, treat our patients with the respect you would want your family member to receive!! Communicate, talk with the family, not too the family! And realize, their lives are just as important as yours, the staff. 7. Build on what you have been doing and make it the best! that will be the true success of UCH!!
