Other than good benefits, this is a horrible company to work for. There is never any consistency in discipline for employees and they don’t treat their employees like professionals.
Support from management
Emoloyees are not held responsible for not doing their job or their share of the work.
Depends on who you’re working with, but management does not foster an attitude of teamwork.
Freedom to work independently
Sometimes too independently. There’s never enough staff.
Communication is AWFUL! Then when you do something wrong, “Well didn’t you get the memo on (this or that)?” “That’s not how you’re supposed to do it. We changed the policy.”, but never informed anyone, so then when you do something wrong because you didn’t know they changed the policy, you get written up.
Overall compensation for your work
Pay and shift differential is good. Tuition reimbursement.
Office / Work Environment
A lot of times we don’t have supplies or the support we need to do our jobs.
Everyone is always in a bad mood because we are short staffed and doing the work of three people. Hostility by other employees is not stopped.
Hostility is rampant among some employees and when they retaliate they never get disciplined for it.
Suggestions for improvement
- Hire more staff. Make employees responsible for their share of the work load and discipline the ones who abuse the time and attendance policy.
What I dislike about the company
Reverse discrimination against white people.
