Support from management

The initial support when first hired appears to be there, but in actuality, it's all about the bottom line. There is no desire to help build and retain. They view their employees as just workers.

Freedom to work independently

They advertise this, but management enjoys micro-managing. This happens at ALL levels. A obvious sign of distrust and immaturity as it relates to understanding management.

Internal Communication

There is none or any that is effective. This is one of the main crux of why the internal failures are as vast as they are.

Career Development

There is none. This is due to their immaturity and lack of professionalism at the executive level and see employees as just that, not as valued members of the team.

Overall compensation for your work

This is just a joke....period

Company Image

Overall, it's not good within the various sectors that they sell their goods. This is due to their inability and/or unwillingness to correct problems in a timely manner.

Job Security

Sure if you're in "click" with the executives or you are a "beta" male of sorts and like being told. No room for candor here.

Challenging Work

The work itself isn't really. The real challenge is all internal.

Suggestions for improvement

  • They should just sell the company at this point.

Company Culture

Overall it's a virus

Support from management

Zero support from all levels of management. Very selfish and spineless

Teamwork

There is some and a strong desire by few, but overall, there is none and so departments are very disjointed

Freedom to work independently

Micromanagement is the name of the game there and this is due to managements lack of self confidence and lack of understanding of any type of leadership/ management.

Internal Communication

There isn't any between departments and within departments. Meetings happen just to have meetings. Very inefficient operations overall.

Attitude towards older colleagues

I witnessed where they seem to value them and the wisdom, but it turned out that they were simply used for that and not even close to properly compensated.

Career Development

Zero....it's a sink or swim mentality. Personnel retention is not a desire.

Overall compensation for your work

The pay was low and the commission rate was a joke and timely payout was non existent.

Office / Work Environment

Toxic and hostile.

Work-Life Balance

You have to be insistent on this, and when "you' are, there is a guilt trip attempt by management despite stating the opposite of family first.

Company Image

Very poor overall. This is due to horrible past performance and lack of follow on customer performance. Most of the time was spend trying to "mend bridges" versus selling and managing current accounts.

Job Security

Although it was specifically told that, "no one will lose their job due to poor sales numbers", this was a lie and there isn't any job security. Candor is not welcomed at all.

Challenging Work

The work isn't challenging, dealing with the internal struggles and amature hour of management is the challenge.

Inclusive / Diverse

All creeds, races, genders work there, I didn't see any issues.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Need to either ascertain actual management classes on understanding what actual management is and means, or leave. Stop micromanaging and mean what you say.

What I like about the company

The product is seemingly solid and overall, most employees there desire to do the right thing.

What I dislike about the company

Pay, Management actions, hypocrisy, failure to actually follow thru on the needs of the customer, not ridding themselves of incompetence in positions that need competent persons, and lack of any effective communication.

Company Culture

Low. Over all there are good people.

Support from management

Management overall does not support. They absolutely do. It clearly communicate and fail to value employees. There is no recourse for recording issues even when brought to the attention of several senior execuative management.

Freedom to work independently

It depends on the department. However, micromanagement and and impatience are rampant throughout the sales department and is a direct reflection of management and lack of management skills.

Internal Communication

There isn't any at an effective communication. It's very disjointed as it is a reflection of management as a whole.

Career Development

There isn't really any true upward mobility either in the company nor do they strive to push employees to self improve either.

Overall compensation for your work

The pay is low overall. Especially for the sales and commission. Employees in all departments aren't really and truly compensated for what they are worth to the level of responsibility that the company expects.

Office / Work Environment

More forward movement and productivity is completed when not in the office.

Work-Life Balance

It's not overall bad however you just be insistent.

Company Image

In many places university loft company is not regarded well due to past performance and very slow customer care for legitimate warranty issues.

Challenging Work

It's a challenge within the first 90 days as with any new job and learning new systems, but what they may consider challenging really isn't. Seemingly narrow and shallow total understanding.

Inclusive / Diverse

A good point....it really doesn't matter gender or race.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Significant change and allowance of new ideas and business models that are not archaic.

What I like about the company

It provided a job.

What I dislike about the company

The management, lack of communication, hypocrisy of what is said versus what happens. Devalued aspect of employees of not senior execuatice management. Facoristism and finally not being properly recognized for work done rather given to others credit.
