Are you a Current or Former Employee? Former job since 2016
As mentioned previously, relations between staff and supervisors was not good. in the last 4 years I worked there, 10 employees were laid off, and 8 left due to bad working conditions or better jobs. The department only had a staff of 21 so that is a very high attrition rate . In many cases laid off staff's salaries then went to hiring more administrators and but the workload for regular staff was increased through consolidating
Support from Management
I worked there for 22 years. Our staff was in two locations, with administrative and directors in one office while most of the actual production staff was in another location. The last five years my department was severely under staffed. As manager I repeatedly asked for more support , which was ignored or denied on supposed budget factors while more "directors' were hired at admin level at high salaries. By the end of my term I was doing 4 peoples jobs while the main office had increased high end administrative positions by 30%.
