We work hard and get very few thank yous.
Support from management
Too many people are trying to leaders just for a high title. Yet, they have very little knowledge. The employees involvement is little to none. Even a suggestion box won't do the trick.
All employees work together and are honest towards each other but are too segregated.
Freedom to work independently
We are very short handed and employees that are new do not last long. Since we do not have much help, we pretty much say what we are going to do and when with our overflowed work loads.
Certain maintenance calls seem last minute. If we have meetings about anything it is what we did wrong in their eyes.
You start out as a runner/groundskeeper and move to a mid level technician at most. There have been runners who have stayed in that position for 5 or more years. We will leave it at that.
Overall compensation for your work
Start at $10 but the work load is more like $14+
Office / Work Environment
We are supplied work vehicles. They looks of them reflect how we treat them.
The work schedule is something I cannot complain with. We get weekends off and we have to give a 30 notice for taking days off but they are leniant with last minute requests.
Everybody has more bad things to say than good.
There is always something to do. Just do not ask for work to do or you will get stuck doing something you don't like.
We do not have a handbook for safety guidelines. They expect us to use common sense or to just be careful when doing something.
Our work is reoccuring but we can buy anything we want to help us get close to completing tasks.
Inclusive / Diverse
We keep ideas from managment and apply them in the field.
Suggestions for improvement
- Suggestions are pointless.
What I like about the company
Not being cooped up in an office all day.
What I dislike about the company
The pay is horrible.
They are eliminating employee discounts for apartments.
There is no incentive to drive us to do better.
The moral is very low.
