My managers asked for my input and then punished me for identifying problems and possible solutions. I felt that managers would change their directions after I dutifully fulfilled the directions they gave. Then, my managers would punish me for doing what they thought was best months ago. They didn't realize that it takes time to implement a program and my managers learn what works and what doesn't in the process of implementing that program. My managers revised their old orders and then punished me for not fulfilling their new orders that just surfaced in their brains recently.
My managers did not make diversity hiring practices a priority.
