Support from management
The sales dept. is full of favoritism and only a hand full of the sales force gets to make the money.
There is no equality in the sales dept. unless you are one of the 3 chosen ones that are allowed to get enough leads to earn top pay
In the end it's a dead end job that does not allow for internal advancement. New managers have always come from another company. There are no team leaders either.
Overall compensation for your work
The pay is great as long as you are a salesman that is being fed leads
The image is of a bait and switch company that uses pricing that does not exist on their commercials in order to get into people's houses
The company has been bought out twice in two years and they have eliminated jobs several times
Suggestions for improvement
- Get a real sales manager that is fair and knows how to gain market share instead of recycling customers out of the existing customer base.
What I like about the company
I liked what the company once was, however, it is no longer that company. It not even USA anymore. It's Protection One
What I dislike about the company
I don't like the fact that only 3-4 people get the bulk of the leads so they make all the money. This is due to the manager.
