The worst place I have ever worked, they cheat employees and try to keep from paying them for hours worked. They run the offices thru intimidation and fear. There is no respect or support and it's a degrading environment. I would never ever recommend this company as an employer. Keep your standards and stay as far away from them as you can. You make more at McDonald's and feel better about yourself at the end of the day.
Support from management
Management out of the Sacramento was not supportive and they staff under the bus at every turn to cover their short falls
On the floor staff level my team was the best. They knew the true meaning of team. Best team ever
Freedom to work independently
No autonomy between management. Very cut throat behavior driven by the AVP
This is a serious area of where things fall apart. Upper management would change directions and fail to communicate the changer between the Sacto office and the Santa Rosa office in a timely manor so change could be put into place. Hence some team would not get the memo on time.
It was a good mix
Attitude towards older colleagues
They Promised staff advanced positions ask them to apply then receded the offer. Built hopes then smasher them for controll
Overall compensation for your work
The pay was way under the standard for the Sonoma Marin cost of living for the same positions in the same field with less benefits.
Office / Work Environment
The office was full of fear. Staff being yelled at in front of their co workers , not allowed to be capable adults, too much control over their every move right down to camera's over the desk.
Here is an area where they did very well. The company does not supply pens, paper, not Paisa so there is no wast.
There is no balance, employees were expected to work even if they are sick or a child is sick and written up if they stayed home. "We do not pay you to be sick or stay home with kids" not a place if you have a family or life.
No embarrassing time
You never knew whey the Sacramento AVP would have you cut, it was a guess from one day to the next.
Very safe from outsiders getting in.
The work in patient financial clearance was good, very routine, it would have or could have been better if the upper management Had a better understanding of operations.
Inclusive / Diverse
Overall this company has a lot to learn about health care and most of all how to care of employees, the ones who make it all possible for them to collect their paychecks.
Suggestions for improvement
- Closing the Sacramento and Santa Rosa office was or would be a good option. Puck your office manager based on skill not company takeover pay.
What I like about the company
What I dislike about the company
The way they treat staff. Upper management needs to remember without the floor staff in each and every office they too would not have a paycheck.
